Description
A B-24 has been damaged and is losing touch with the main bomber formation as Luftwaffe pilots concentrate their attentions on the unfortunate aircraft. Two Fw190s, are closing in for the kill on the damaged B-24 but, seeing the desperate situation, a P-38 escort pilot makes a head-on attack, splitting the pair of Fw190s and ruining their attempt to finish off the stricken bomber whilst another P-38 also turns in to attack the German fighters.
