This superb original painting in acrylic on canvas by renowned artist Darryl Legg, is a superb cameo of one of the most famous aircraft of WWII: the B-17 Memphis Belle.

The canvas has been stretched on board by our expert framing team, allowing it to be conservation framed to include the autograph of the legendary pilot of this iconic Bomber:

The 24 year old Captain Bob Morgan skippered the Memphis Belle on every one of her 25 combat missions.  His skill as a B-17 pilot, his courage under fire, and his leadership forged his crew into one of the best fighting units in the Mighty Eighth.
