Description
With one of engine out and another smoking badly, a lone Halifax of 405 Sqn RCAF struggles home damaged and alone. As the exhausted crew fight to keep their bomber airborne they are easy prey for any marauding Luftwaffe fighters, but fortunately they have been spotted by a formation of Hurricanes from 253 Sqn on a routine fighter patrol. For the final leg of their long journey home, this crew will at last have protection to see them safely back to base.
