Helmut Wick, the Luftwaffe’s top-scoring ace of the Battle of Britain, leads Me109E’s of I.JG2 ”Richthofen” on a fighter escort mission, September 1940. Heinkel 111’s of the Kampfgeschwadern mass for another raid on England, while below a Blenheim of No.2 Group has force-landed on the northern French beach, testimony to RAF Bomber Command’s contribution to the famous battle.

Limited to just 200 prints, each copy is issued with a matching numbered pencil print matted to include the original signature in pencil of Major Julius Meimberg who was in combat alongside Wick on the day that the Kommodore was shot down over the channel, 28 November, 1940.
