Description

Exhausted, hungry and numbed by cold, the men of “Easy” Company 506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division hold their hastily constructed positions against the massive German forces encircling the strategic town of Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge, Christmas 1944.

Despite the overwhelming odds, lightly armed with little ammunition, scant supplies and inadequate winter clothing, the besieged 101st Airborne defiantly held their ground for over a week until relieved by elements of General Patton’s 3rd US Army.

Available as an unsigned, open edition print.
